Herbal Remedies and health benefits
- For Cough, Mix turmeric powder with 1-2 grams of Honey and lick the paste for reflief.

- For anemia disease, daily take a dose of one tea spoon turmeric juice after mixing with honey.
- Asthmatic patients should boil one cup of cow milk mixed with 1 tea spoon turmeric powder & drink warm. Inhaling the smoke of Turmeric can assist in coughs, asthma and congested nasal passages.
- To cure conjunctivitis mix one table spoon of crushed, raw turmeric in one third cup of water. Boil and sieve. two to three drops of this mixture may be used in each eye up to three times per day.
- For good complexion apply a paste of turmeric on the skin before bed like a face mask, and wash off after a few minutes. In the morning, remove any remaining yellow tinge with a paste of chickpea flour (besan) and oil.
- For dental disorders, mix one tea spoon of turmeric with half tea spoon of salt. Add mustard oil to make a paste. Rub the teeth and gums with this paste twice daily.
- To cure diarrhoea, take half tea spoon of turmeric powder or juice in water, three times per day.
- For pain relief, mix one tea spoon of turmeric and two tea spoon of ginger with water to make a paste. Spread over a cloth, place on the affected area and bandage. Add one tea sopoon of turmeric to one cup of warm milk and drink before bed.
- Mix a pinch of Turmeric with organic ghee and apply it to the mucus lining of nose to stop the sniffles. It also stops nose bleeds, helps to clear the sinuses, restore a more acute sense of smell, and helps to purify the mind and brain.
- If you are sufferint from Burns then make a mixture one tea spoon of turmeric with one tea spoon of aloe vera plant gel & apply to burnt area.
